         Private Money Interest Rates do not fluctuate like institutional loans that are tied to common interest indeces.  Rates are set by individual lenders and private investors who fund the loan.  The interest rates for 1st Trust Deeds are typically between 9 - 12%.  Interest rates for 2nd position Trust Deeds typically start at 12% and go up from there.
